Beginning of the 1st semester (WS)
Where do I get a student card? How does the course Introduction to study take place? Where can I get a textbook or where can I go for food? That, and i’ll find out even more here.
How do I get a student identity card?
During my studies at FEM, I will definitely need a student card (ISIC, ITIC, and others). I can find out more about student cards by clicking on the Students Cards link.
Matriculation of newly admitted students
Matriculation of newly admitted students into full-time bachelor’s degree programs at FEM is a ceremonial event of the admission of a student to the academic community of the university. I will find out the time of my matriculation, for example, on the FEM website in the Study News before the beginning of the 1st semester. During the matriculation day, students are divided into groups according to their study programs. I will arrive at the matriculation ceremony in formal attire 15 minutes before the start. Matriculation is mandatory. In the academic year 2020/2021, matriculation will not take place due to the current situation.
Course Introduction to Study
First year students of the full-time study must pass an online test of the electronically taught compulsory subject Introduction to Study in the first semester and you have to complete this subject by November 30. The course takes place only online within the university-wide e-learning system Moodle.
Where can I find textbooks and other study materials?
Textbooks are basic study materials for me. I’ll need a textbook for most subjects (they are often required by some teachers), so it’s good for me to know where to get them. If I want a completely new or second-hand textbook, I will buy(borrow) them at:
- In the Reprographic studio FEM,
- in the CZU Library,
- at the textbook exchange.
Where to go for food?
There are many places where I can eat at the CZU campus. Learn more by clicking the link Restaurants and buffets.
