Student organizations
During my studies, I can take part in a lot of extracurricular activities and become a member of one of the student organizations operating at CZU in Prague.
Student organizations are groups of students who focus on a variety of topics and areas where they create interesting events for students, staff and friends of the university. They are about the area of language, education, leisure activities - sports, cultural activities, but also ecology and nature protection.
Most student organizations have their headquarters at a dormitory. Dormitory BCD (Aiesec, Be fair, Asociace studentů CZU in Prague, iZUN.eu), Dormitory JIH (ESN CZU in Prague), Dormitory EFG (CZU: Go!). Faculty-student organizations are located mainly at the faculties of their operation.

Nationwide and world operations
AIESEC CZU in Prague does not need a lengthy introduction, a worldwide organization that contributes to society through the development of young people and in opportunities in the international environment. Their main activities are language courses, projects aimed at educating individuals and projects aimed at primary, secondary and university students. They also organize internships for students who go to help all over the world or internships for students coming to the Czech Republic from all over the world.
AEGEE in Prague is one of the largest interdisciplinary student organizations in Europe. It enables young people and students to gain an active role in society. Creates for them space for dialogue, opportunities for non-formal education and personal development. Among their Key activities include intercultural exchanges, personal development and non-formal thematic education projects, the promotion of views in policymaking and the space for discussion and exchange of views from European perspectives in order to find common positions.
ESN CZU PRAGUE is an organization of students and volunteers who help incoming students to universities in the orientation of the university and the country to which they are heading. They organize various activities for the best possible inclusion in life at the university. They organize welcome events, provide buddy programs for international students, trips around the Czech Republic and surrounding countries, themed evenings, parties or intercultural evenings.
University-wide organizations
Asociace studentů při ČZU v Praze is a student organization focused on leisure activities such as sports, and cultural and educational events. Among the main projects of this organization include the CZU University Ball, the Wine Festival, the small football tournament "For the University Champions Cup", summer cinema, and stand-ups.
CZU:Go! is an organization whose biggest project is introductory courses for CZU students. Furthermore, lectures on various topics, themed parties (Halloween, Movember, Silent disco) and sports tournaments (football, volleyball).
iZUN.eu is mainly a university agricultural newspaper, which brings information from all corners of the university and sometimes information from non-university backgrounds. They deal with a variety of topics. In addition, they also organize several cultural events. Among the biggest event that is organized in cooperation with CZU is MISS Agro and the opening party. Then they also organize Christmas markets and Christmas parties, beer league, Music Challenges and early summer semester Gala evening to support children with Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
SPOLU na ČZU (Together at CZU) is an association for university sustainability, it is the application of environmental management, renewable energy sources in buildings, to help reduce energy efficiency effectively demands and achieving self-sufficiency of the university. The main projects of this organization include Together for Brko, Together for planting, or Together for baskets.
Faculty-student organizations
Pupen is a student organization operating at the Faculty of FAFNR. They organize events related to board games, themed parties and other activities related to the faculty. They also participate in events at the faculty. For example, they help during the first opening day and open house.
Studentský zájmový spolek FLD was established primarily to support foreign relations. The intention is to represent the faculty at foreign conferences and organize conferences within the territory of the Czech Republic. Other activities include professional lectures on forestry topics, film screenings, organizing meetings and supporting cultural life at the faculty.
Be Fair is a student organization operating withing the entire university, but is sponsored by the faculty of tropical agriculture and the Faculty of Business and Economics. It focuses on the issue of relationships between the global South and the North, on Fair Trade and responsible consumption and sustainable development. It organizes travel lectures from all over the world especially from students for students. It organizes exhibitions, lectures and discussions, film festivals or breakfasts.
CZU PRAGUE FORMULA RACING team of students from the Faculty of Engineering, with the support from The Faculty of Business and Economics, which creates a university formula car that travels to a variety of competitions.
Trubačský půlkruh při FLD ČZU v Praze is an association of hunting trumpeters. Since the beginning, the semicircle participates in trumpet competitions, hunting events and festive occasions throughout the whole university.
Spolek myslivců při FLD ČZU v Praze brings together students, employees of FFWS, but also other faculties interested in hunting.
Popularizační rubrika FLD brings the scientific results of FFWS students and staff board to the public.
