Semester
The semester includes periods of teaching, periods of exams, holidays, field trips, and internships. Each semester ends with an examination period, which is usually shorter in the winter semester. During the academic year there are two semesters, winter and summer. The semester lasts twelve weeks. Winter usually begins in October and ends in December, the summer semester begins in February and ends in May.

They are mandatory and are used to practice the material. They take place in groups of up to forty students. They look like high school lessons and usually last 90 minutes. At the end of the semester, the exercises end with a credit.
Credit
Credit is awarded for meeting the requirements set by the program of educational activities for the given subject. It is awarded by the teacher on the basis of fulfilling the obligation for its completion (written test, oral presentation, seminar work, class activity, absence, etc.). Obtaining a credit is always condition for taking the exam.
